LG + COLLABORATORS

LG + DIEGO PERNIA

Shortly after I moved to Atlanta, I was hired for a styling gig with the band Sir Roosevelt. Diego was the visionary director of Zac Brown's film production company. We had a great connection and I became a big fan of his beautiful work. Diego gives me the freedom of movement when we're shooting and allows me to express my creativity. To me, the photos Diego takes feel spiritually connected — like great paintings do.

LG + FELIPE DAVILA

Felipe is from Colombia and has lived in various places around the world like I have. A makeup artist showed me a photo of his work and I was instantly fascinated. On top of his photography talent, he is an amazing graphic artist with photoshop. He is able to transform images and create a visual world.

LG + LULL MAGAZINE:

MONICA GREENWALD & HEATHER McGRATH

Omg yes! These women are so strong. Serendipity (which follows me around) led us to meeting. My photos lived on their mood board for a shoot they were planning for Lull Magazine. A model I know saw them and introduced us. When we shot, they helped me embrace who I am in my body. It was an incredible feeling of empowerment. There aren't enough women doing this work and their team was all women. I'm grateful I connected with these two.

LG + GEORGE GEORGAS

George reached out on insta...we talked about our work, what we liked, and about shooting together. When I found out he was based in Greece I said, "Oh well, one day we'll collaborate." The next day I woke up and had an email from him saying he wanted to bring me to Athens. He created a whole set for me and the photos ended up on the cover of Huf Magazine.

LG + MIO GUBERNIC & JOSE ESPAILLAT

I saw Mio's amazing theatrical costume design work and I wanted to wear something of his at NY fashion week. When I saw the pieces he chose, I wanted to capture it in a photoshoot. It turned out his partner Jose was a photographer and was actually from the Dominic Republic like me! Jose was very quiet when we collaborated. I didn't get to see any of the photos during the shoot or give and feedback, but the results were stunning and we got a VGXW cover from the collaboration.

LG + THOM BAKER

Tom's photography is like a wonderful therapy for me. It's a deeper connection between us than just photography. Tom is able to capture my feelings. He'll tell me "If you're feeling upset, I want you to just let it out." Like a therapist, he can actually make me feel better after our shoot!

LG + MATTHEW GEOVANY

Matthew is like my little brother. When we first moved to Atlanta, we met and started doing some street style in B&W which is what he loves. Now he does all my behind the scenes photos and the pictures are amazing. He took photos of me participating in the recent Atlanta BLM protest march and one of his photos (not one of me) ended up being an album cover for L'IL Baby.

LG + ATLANTA VISUALS

What first caught my eye about the work of Chris Brann of Atlanta Visuals are his exceptional 3d effects. I wanted to do something special and he did that, embracing the darkness of my aesthetic without making it too scary. Like me, he was used to seeing more avant garde work than we have here in Atlanta because he had lived in Germany. We worked through our frustration together. The result was refreshing and innovative and with a sort of mystery as well.
